‘Anabolic Cookbook’ Promises Bodybuilding Cuisine

The world of bodybuilding is known for its strict muscle building diets, but rarely for its cuisine. Professional and amateur bodybuilders alike often feel that their choice of meal is somewhat limited and perhaps lacking in a little information.

That could be set to change if the specialist field of “anabolic cooking” takes off – heralded with its very own cookbook.

Dave Ruel, author of the Anabolic Cooking Cookbook is a dedicated bodybuilder himself.

He is also a passionate believer that the reason some people don’t go the distance with their training programmes is their boredom with the bland, if muscle building, fare they have to eat. This is made worse by the natural tendency of the modern human to “go for the easy option by spending tons of money in pre-made meals, take-out food and meal replacement drinks,” he has said.

For those who manage to avoid this, they still face junk food cravings, because they have not got access to anything both healthy and great tasting – as Ruel puts it: “Who the hell can live exclusively on boiled chicken breasts, baked potatoes and broccoli?”

His cookbook promises over 200 recipes that are full of flavour and originality, yet actively promote fat loss and muscle building. Many of them are even easy enough to prepare in minutes.

Ruel also gives information on the fundamentals of anabolic cooking and nutrition, along with easy-to-follow meal plans and tips to have the best possible bodybuilding session afterwards.

The Anabolic Cooking Cookbook is available online and especially from Ruel’s own website.
