The Undertaker faced his brother Kane in a No Holds Barred Match at WWE Night of Champions on September 19 2010. Kane had put The Undertaker in a vegetative state in June 2010 and pretended that he had to find the culprit. When The Undertaker returned at SummerSlam 2010, he named Kane as his attacker.
The Undertaker and Kane Feud
Kane admitted that he had attacked Undertaker and declared that he was the stronger brother, and would destroy the weakened Undertaker who was merely a shadow of his former self. Undertaker said he wasn’t dead yet, and challenged Kane to a No Holds Barred Match at Night of Champions with Kane’s World Heavyweight Championship on the line, and Kane accepted in a continuance of their brotherly feud.
The Undertaker vs. Kane No Holds Barred Match at Night of Champions 2010
Undertaker and Kane’s No Holds Barred Match began with Undertaker attacking Kane before he could even make his way down the ramp. Undertaker battered Kane repeatedly and threw him into a pillar. Kane attacked Undertaker’s knee but Taker grabbed Kane’s throat and continued to pummel him. Kane kicked Undertaker to the floor.
Undertaker recovered and continued to dominate the match until Kane threw Undertaker into the steel ringside steps. Kane rammed Taker’s head into the steps. Kane continued to batter his brother and hit him in the face with the World Heavyweight title. Kane clotheslined Undertaker from the top rope and followed with a leg drop. He tried for a pin but Taker kicked out.
Kane continued to dominate the match and tried for another pin but Taker kicked out. Kane dropkicked Undertaker and moved him outside the ring, where he threw him into the announcers’ table and hit him with its cover. Undertaker retaliated by throwing Kane into the ring steps. He followed up with a leg drop and clotheslined Kane over the barricade.
Undertaker leapt over the barricade and onto Kane, but Kane hit Taker with a steel chair. They continued to fight into the crowd and traded blows. Kane kneed Undertaker in the face. They made their way back to the ring and Kane jumped from the barricade, knocking Undertaker down. Kane continued to pummel Taker and stomped on his throat. Undertaker fought back and the two exchanged hits while the crowd did their boo/yay chant.
Kane Defeats The Undertaker at Night of Champions 2010
Undertaker landed a flying clothesline on Kane and hit him in the corner. He followed up with Snake Eyes and a boot to the face. He hit Kane with a leg drop and tried for a pin but Kane kicked out. Undertaker chokeslammed Kane and signaled for the Tombstone but Kane struggled out and Tombstoned The Undertaker. Kane pinned Undertaker for the win and retained his World Heavyweight Championship. Undertaker took a long time to stumble to the backstage area, suggesting that he was severely weakened by Kane.
